My name is Chris Bhutta, and I’m an ISSA-certified elite personal trainer. I hold specialty certifications in pre- and postnatal fitness through Fit for Birth, menopause coaching through Girls Gone Strong, and corrective exercise through ISSA. I’m also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance and hold nutrition coaching certifications through both ISSA and Metabolic Effect.
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle took on renewed importance when I became pregnant with my first daughter in 2012. I exercised regularly throughout pregnancy (I even taught a spin class the day before I delivered!) and ate a healthy diet. I believe these two things contributed to a positive pregnancy experience and a swift postpartum recovery. This personal experience motivated me change careers and specialize in pre- and postnatal fitness, so that I might help other women have a similar experience.
Many of these once new moms continue to work with me. As I saw their needs change as they advanced towards perimenopause and menopause, I obtained additional training as a menopause coaching specialist to best serve them. I now proudly serve all women throughout the many phases of their adult lives.
When I’m not working with clients, you can probably find me in one of a few places: in the kitchen, experimenting with new healthy recipes; outside, racking up the miles on my road bike; or in the WellMom studio, doing my own strength training!

I for one is a mom too. And I love all your health and wellness blogs. I wish to become one of your students someday.
I currently have a program with Arlington Personal Training Studio and they do have personal trainers as well. Once done
with their program, I would definitely want to try your service. Please continue to inspire moms like me. You are such a
blessing to us. Thanks! 🙂
